The only problem was the name, in spanish feo is ugly so I was a little hesitant to try this out. Boy were my fears for nothing! The dry woody citrus scent is absolutely refreshing during these horrible cold dark winter days. It's a wonderful leafy garden smell, and it's no wonder since Ninfeo Mio is inspired by a garden in Rome named Ninfa.
Ingredient notes include: bergamot, citron, bitter orange, lavender, lemon tree wood and fig leaf.
The first spritz comes on a little strong but do not let that first one keep you from trying this one out. It's not overwhelming or harsh on your nose, it's just citrusy and woody. It's been a long time since any of us have been able to enjoy a real citrus perfume such as Ninfeo Mio, considering the IFRA rules on the use of citrus oils.
In any case the scent begins to combine with your natural chemicals giving you a warmer summery fig/lavender scent. That soft milky smell lasts for awhile bringing you back to warm summer day picnics. A definitely must have during this frigid times!

Thanks so much to KPPR for sending over the sample, truly a delight to have this one in my collection!
