Oh Oscar....

Oscar Blandi happens to be my most trusted hair care brand, definitely a brand I keep coming back to. I'm constantly putting my hair through serious torture, from trying various products for the sake of my readers to using a blow dryer and flat iron to tame this crazy mop. I can always trust in Oscar Blandi products to bring back the health and shine of my hair.

My first experience with Oscar, was his famous Pronto Dry Shampoo its always rated number in the magazines and blogs. It boosts volume while leaving hair with a clean lemon scent. . I picked this up at the suggestion of my favorite Sephora staffer after complaining to him how greasy my blow out had gotten mid-afternoon. Pronto is now a staple in my bathroom and saves me serious time. I can hang onto my blow out for an extra two days! A miracle with my greasy hair.

To add to my Oscar Blandi Collection, the always phenomenal Brooke sent over samples of Oscar Blandi's newest volumizing tools. Thanks Brooke you ROCK!

Inside the goodie bag was Oscar's Volumizing Spray and Lacca Hairspray. Can you believe I haven't tried these before! Shocking I know.

anyhow, you know I'm always wearing my fake curls/waves it is so much easier then blowing out my hair. However, I'm constantly trying to make it look like I have more hair. When I straighten my hair, it's flat as a board no body or volume. If I'm trying to do waves they seem to fall flat and I get triangle head...scary. Oscar's Volumizing spray has added massive amounts of volume and shine to my hair. As usual Blandi does the impossible. Below are photos of my hair today, I wanted to go rocker chic, easily achieved when using the set.

To get this look, hair must be wet. Apply a liberal amount of Oscar Blandi volumizing spray concentrating on the roots. Add Lacca hairspray from mid shaft to the ends. Flip hair upside down and scrunch under medium heat on the blow dryer. Take your time and go slowly you don't want to create volumes of frizz.

To create more volume at the roots, run your fingers through your scalp and hold about a half inch to an inch taut and away from your scalp, this will give you a little more height.

If your looking for something straight and a little more glamorous. Definitely go for the look Sofia Vergara wore at the Golden Globes this year. Created by his Hair Majesty Oscar Blandi! Trés Magnifique!

Sofia wore a Carolina Herrera gown, her hairstyle evokes a Greek goddess with natural ethereal waves separated into two tasseled sections. I wish we had a picture of the back.

To create the look, Oscar primed Sofia’s wet hair with Oscar Blandi Volumizing Spray then blow-dried it and pined pieces around the crown of her head and the nape of her neck. Oscar used a medium barrel curling iron to create soft waves and finished the look with Oscar Blandi Lacca Hairspray.

I'm definitely going to try this look myself. Maybe for Valentine's Day. What's YOUR favorite Oscar Blandi Product?
