I've lusted over Rock & Republic glosses for some time now. I was so excited when they went on sale @Hautelook but alas I wasn't fast enough. I wasn't able to snag one (or even the 6 I had in mind) . April has solved my issue but started a new addiction. Not sure how my husband will feel about that... :op~



Rock & Republic Luxe Lip Glosses come in 15 colors named: Trust Fund, Runaway, Imposter, Train Wreck, Muse, Mistress, Tyrant, Hot Sauce, Preppy Punk, Alpha Blonde, Vacant, Drama Queen, Sexy Beast, Loudmouth, Cougar. The names alone make you want to have the collection.

I received Runaway & Alpha Blonde. 

Runaway is the best nude gloss I've ever owned, it's perfect for every single day, with maximum shine and moisture. For those of you who have been asking what my favorite nude gloss is, well here it is. As I said I'm addicted.

 

Alpha Blonde is for my daring Glamistas, it's GOLD!!! Beautiful creamy shimmery GOOOOOOOLLDD! a browny gold for those of you giving me the side eye but still gold. I already know what your thinking who the heck can get away with gold, but I'm telling you right now, we ALL can. This is a beautiful soft gold color, that compliments my tan skin nicely. It's not so bold to take away from the rest of my natural (wink) beauty. It's subtle and definitely so much fun to wear. I had this on last night and got a ton of compliments and questions. I didn't think I could pull off any kind of gold, talk about surprised. Lesson learned again, be daring. Give it a shot.

My only issue with these glosses, is the applicator. They should have went with a brush tip instead of the sponge. Being that these glosses are creamy you tend to wipe more off with the sponge then apply, so use your lip brush instead!
