Night Out Essentials From Rimmel London!

I absolutely love the smokey eye. It's my favorite look, you can create so many versions with any color options you can think of. Always beautiful.

Being it's my first day back in the city (not so hectic move to Bayonne) I wanted to make a statement...remind the chicas how fabulous I look.

Samie, many thanks for sending over some amazing Rimmel products. They made creating today's look super simple.

Easy to apply, Colour Rush Eye Shadow’s fine powder formulation glides on to lids, allowing effortless blending. The super soft, silky and lightweight formula contains jojoba oil, Vitamin E and lanolin to moisturize and nourish the delicate skin around the eye. A special combination of silicone oils provides a smooth, crease-free finish that lasts for up to eight hours on the town.  Try it in Smokey Noir for a perfect palette of dramatically sexy color.

This is a fabulous palette to use when creating a dramatic smoky look.
I used the lightest color (bottom left) all over the lid. It's pretty soft, if you want it darker you'll want to keep applying more layers until you achieve the desired affect. Next I created more depth to my eye by applying the darker gray (bottom right) in the crease. I also added a few layers to this color to create the bolder look I wanted. Following the crease I applied the light stone gray color (top right) on the inside corner of my eye just to be dramatic. Finally I used the darkest gray (top left) as my eyeliner. I used a flat square tipped brush and brought the color past the outside corner of my eyes to elongate them slightly, and give myself more wiggle room when I'm blending the colors and fading them out to create the "smoke".

Delivers a soft, smudgeable line and fade-resistant color that’s easy to apply and great for creating smoky eye looks.  This pencil gives dense color application, which can be blended into the lid for a softly smudged look.

I applied the super soft Kohl pencil to line the inner rims of my eye. The best way to do this yourself without messing up your already applied eyeshadow is to use this. You can lift up your lids to get into those tight water lines.

Glamorize your eyes with the fluttery lashes and flirty seduction with Glam’Eyes Lash Flirt Mascara. Soft as a feather and intensely black, the lightweight mousse formula voluminously wraps lashes with kohl-black pigments for major impact. Glam’Eyes Lash Flirt Mascara delivers 2X blacker pigments and 80% longer lashes for a flirty, seductive look.

Great mascara, it's never clumpy and lengthens your lashes. It's exceptional at opening up your eyes.

I know not the greatest photos, but I did a pretty darn good job on the makeup if I say so myself! How do you create your smokey eye?
