Todays Look Is Inspired By The Color

PINK~~

Yes I realize it's St. Patrick's Day, and I should be sporting the ole Emerald green, however I felt pink today. I don't know why usually I would have gone with the flow and reached for my greens, but pink was just calling me. I'm surrounding in pink too, my iPhone, Blackberry and business card holder even my pen is pink. See a theme here? Onto my creation:

I used Tommy Hilfiger Eyeshadow in Daring as the base color. I love this color it's an orangy pink that works really well with my skin and eye color. The description is a bright deep rose, I find it leans more orange then rose, but hey that's just my opinion.

Because I'm always getting emails asking how come I don't use MAC products, I decided to pull out my MAC Cream Shadow Palette. I brushed the dust off and used my favorite purple (Top Left!) I have no idea what it's called so feel free to put me on blast if you know the answer. 

Anyway Use a soft hand when applying, I only wanted to add a little more depth to the pink. I wanted to keep the pop on the base color rather then blending it out with the purple. Came out really nice I think.

I don't even know if they sell this palette anymore, it has the neutrals I keep coming back to and a few that I just love using every once in awhile. 

Don't get caught in the hype though. MAC can be pretty expensive. There are so many brands out there that are just as good if not better then MAC. Yes I said it!

To finish off my look I went with yesterday's gel eyeliner from Maybelline. I still find it easy to use and I like the results. Clear crisp lines that work well. On the lashes I went with Rimmel's Glam Eyes Lash Flirt in 001 Black. Great mascara that lengthens my stumpy lashes.
