OMG This is my first official Fashion Week with backstage press credentials. I was so unbelievable excited, the models the cloths, the designers THE MAKEUP! It was so glamorous red carpet amazing, and I was backstage for it all.
Anne Bowen was my first stop. Not only is she sweet with the most adorable well behaved doggy her dresses are to die for. I definitely have three that I am lusting after and I'm so hoping she has pity on this makeup blogger and sends over a dress. I know that will probably never happen but a girl can dream.
I took a ridiculous amount of photos. Pitch from Warren-Tricomi is responsible for the glorious hair, while MUA extraordinaire Julie worked those makeup brushes:
To create this look Julie used Temptu Foundation with what I have dubbed the porcupine brush. She skipped airbrushing saying this brush worked so well giving off the look of airbrush with just the brush. Anne requested the eye makeup look "textured" so Julie used a mascara wand dipped in the eyeshadow to create the smokey eye above.
Ms. Bowen wanted the hair to be clean chaos, so Pitch from Warren Tricomi created a sleek front with massive volume curls in the back.
Now the clothes!
