Launching in November, Borghese is releasing a line of lipsticks. There will be six shades that were inspired by the runways of Milan. Each lipstick is a dual purpose formula that delivers rich, opaque color with a high pearl finish.
The shades are Perla Nudo, Perla Café, Perla Fiamma, Perla Pesca, Perla Vino and Perla Rosa. SRP is $24.50 and will be available in November.
I received a press sample of Perla Vino. I personally like wine colors in the fall my lips are very pigmented and wine compliments them nicely.
I'm on the fence about the color being wrapped in a lip balm like jacket. The color seems muted and dulled down by the balm. I do love how moisturized it leaves your lips and it lasts longer than my traditional regular lipsticks. If you want the color to be darker I'd suggest using a lip brush to get more of the color in the middle then apply.
