Bobbi Brown Beauty Rules + A Chance To Score Your Own Copy

By now I'm sure everyone has heard that Bobbi Brown has released a brand new book created especially for teens. Teens post their pictures everywhere on all social sites doing just about everything everyday.

As former ugly duckling it was difficult learning to embrace MY beauty and be true to myself. I constantly battled with my "look" while figuring myself out.  My paternal grandmother was my only beauty source around and I only got to hang with her every other weekend. And her style was much more sophisticated than anything I was able to pull off. I didn't eat right and swore jet-black hair made me look cool. Ahh youth.

Renowned makeup artist extraordinaire Bobbi Brown is helping young women become their most amazing selves with her brand new beauty bible Beauty Rules (Chronicle Books, September 2010). In Beauty Rules, Bobbi builds beauty from the inside out with tips on everything from exercise and eating right to the importance of being a great friend. And thankfully there is a ton about great makeup. I get tons of emails from you teens, my stunning sister Erica is 18 and her resemblance to Zoe Saldana keeps me worried. I want to be able to answer all her beauty needs but I only know so much. We all had and still have questions, whether your a parent of a teen or teen yourself this is the book to have. Best believe whenever Erica calls for my beauty advice I will be quoting Bobbi's ideas to help her out.

To celebrate her new book Bobbi designed a pretty palette with wearable eye, lip and cheek colors in addition to launching a new site: www.beautyrules.com. This site features behind the scenes photos and video footage, before and after images and even a quiz that allows you to create your own set of beauty rules while accurately matching you to one of the girls in the book so you can easily identify looks that will work for you. There is even a great mother daughter makeover sweepstake going on.
