I recently joined Video Blogger Campaign for John Frieda Root Awakening. It's a great opportunity to grow my blog, but I'm really doing it so I can use John Frieda's products. I've used his stuff since high school. FreezEase was a gift from heaven.
As part of the campaign I received the entire line: The Root Awakening Strength Restoring Shampoo, The Strength Restoring Conditioner, The Strength Restoring Hairspray, Strength Restoring gel, Strength Restoring Smoothing Lotion and the Health Boosting Detangling Spray.
Since using Root Awakening I've already noticed how much faster I do my hair. Drying time is cut down in half and it takes to styling much easier. My hair stays super soft. I can't wait to see how much healthier my hair is within the next couple of days/weeks.
The exact steps I did were shampoo twice then condition, rinse with cool water. I applied a few spritzes of the detangling spray prior drying with a soft towel. I then applied a small amount of the smoothing lotion all over and wrapped my hair in a dry towel. Once my hair was semi dry I blasted it with the blow dryer (attachment on) I wanted to make sure the roots where super dry. My hair tends to get really frizzy with a blow dryer so I have to be careful I'm only drying the roots. The attachment is awesome for that (anyone know what that attachment is called?) once my hair was dry dry I used the flat iron to get it pin straight.
