Make Up For Ever @ Daniella Kallmeyer S/S2011

Make Up For Ever Alliance Artist, Orlando Santiago was the key make up artist for the Daniella Kallmeyer Spring/Summer 2011 NYFW Show. Orlando describes the look as "South of France pretty little rich girl" (huh?) the look of someone who grabs a few products from their makeup bag to touch up before dinner and looks effortlessly gorgeous. (oh)

Complexion & Cheeks: Orlando bronzed and illuminated the skin first applying Make Up For Ever Face and Body Foundation then dusted the entire face with MUFE Mat Bronze #6 for a deep golden glow. The cheeks were contoured using Make Up For Ever Sculpting Kit #10, Orlando then added highlights to the cheek bones using MUFE Pan Cake #3 and MUFE Diamond Cream #7.

Eyes: Orlando added a soft wash of color to the eyes using MUFE Eye Shadow #126. He then lined the inner eye with MUFE Concealer Pencil in #100 for a bright eyed effect. To get that strong  clumpy lash look, Orlando scattered pieces of Make Up For Ever Faux Lash #155 to the top lash line and finished by applying a thick coat of MUFE Smoky Lash. Finally he lightened the brows  using MUFE Invisible Concealer, brushing it through the brow hairs to mute them.

Lips: Orlando used Rouge Artist #38 to the lips for a pinky coral hue.

I like the idea, and on the models I love the golden glow. It just seems to me like a toned down neutral look anyone would wear. I guess I'm just not liking Orlando's description of the look. It made me think this look would be much more than it is.
