Hello my beauties!! I know it's been ages since I've written, I'm so very sorry! I must admit that I completely and deeply miss interacting with all of you so I'm going to make more of an effort from now on. Please forgive me but the last quarter of 2011 was very difficult for me and my family...

Around about end of September beginning of October my husband became sick with some abdominal pains. He ended up having a pretty serious surgery, the removed a piece of his kidney and he was out of work for a few months. In the midst of that we were still trying to have a baby. So truth be told I wasn't in the beauty mind set. Hormone treatments and a sick husband will do that to you. It was completely draining.

Thankfully we ended the year with more blessings than we could have imagined.  My husband bounced back and is better than ever and I couldn't be more thankful for that. It was pretty scary for awhile there. To add to that phenomenal news, after five years of actively trying and more heartache then I'd ever wish for anyone, we are finally pregnant!! I'm already in my second trimester (thank you Lord!) and so far going strong. I've been really sick though and we've had some bumps in the road here and there, but at every appointment we are greeted with a very wiggly being and the breathtaking sound of a heartbeat. It has been such an amazing blessing. If it wasn't for my expanding waist line I'd hardly believe it.

After months of being in a creative funk I've finally gotten this radient glow so I've been intoxicated with all the new products being launched this year. So expect the usual beauty updates and I'm sure there will be a ridiculous helping of pregnancy related posts as well. So this should be interesting, are you ready for the ride?
